Published Payment Center processing amounts
When a United States organization sends ACH through Payment Center, these are the published processing amounts.
Setup fees are one-time
Each new account has a one-time setup fee. The organization pays sender setup to open its sending account. Each official pays receiver setup to open their own receiving account.
Transfer fees are per payment
The transfer fee is charged for every individual payment — not once per batch. Paying ten people in one batch means ten transfer fees ($1.10 USD × 10 = $11.00 USD). Those fees come up again whenever the sender starts a payment or a batch of payments.
Who pays the transfer fee
The sender chooses for each batch. If the organization pays the fee and wants to pay someone $100.00 USD, it needs $101.10 USD on hand. If the receiver pays the fee, the organization still sends $100.00 USD, and the person receives $98.90 USD.
